Fall Wreath DIY

It’s Fall and what better way to welcome the season then by creating a wreath.

Items I already had in stock: glitter, glue, twine, and glue gun. These items can also be purchased at the 99 cent store.

  • Fall wreath: 99 cent store, $1
  • Burlap ribbon: Target dollar spot, $1
  • Fall leaves, orange ribbon: Walmart, $1 each
  • Pine cones: free! Picked them up on the way to take Zelda to school.

It was fairly easy to make. The only issue I had was making sure the pine cones didn’t fall off. I used twine to secure it to the wreath. After making sure they wouldn’t move and fall off, I started glueing the leaves with hot glue. I glued the orange ribbon to the burlap ribbon so the bow wouldn’t look so plain. Ater glueing the bow to the wreath, the last step was adding a little bit of glitter to the pine cones. I used Elmer glue on the pine cones and then sprinkled glitter on them.

Overall, I think it was simple to make and fun as well. I’ve seen Fall wreaths at the store but the ones I liked were kinda pricy. I think making my own gives it a warm loving touch to my home.
