A Blue Tsunami

Work was a little hectic, but it ended well. It sucks that it’s dark outside by the time I get off work, though. I don’t feel the need to do anything else but go home, change into my PJs, make coffee, and get comfy in bed—but today was an important day. I was excited to drop my ballot off and treated myself to In-N-Out. I loved the excitement I felt watching the midterms. I was wondering if I should have held a watch party, but nah. I was alone, and it was okay.

I wanted to post something, but I didn’t. I held back, but I felt like I was being split in two. A part of me wanted to share, while the other just wanted to be private. Since I got used to just recording myself and posting, it’s hard to stay quiet now. I don’t want to silence myself—and I shouldn’t—but I do think my mental health should come first. I need to be okay. I know it will be okay, and I will be back in a much better state where I don’t feel so overwhelmed.
