Free event and free Red Bulls?! I’m there.

The Red Bull Soapbox Race was in town, and I just so happened to have that Saturday off. It was meant to be! I wasn’t sure what to expect. The website mentioned needing to RSVP, but at the entrance, they weren’t scanning anything; they just had metal detectors and were checking for weapons. We entered through the finish line area, and within about a minute, I was handed my first Red Bull—my current favorite flavor!

We picked a pretty good spot to check out the race. After an hour, we decided to explore the event grounds. I was given another Red Bull. In Grand Park, they had tents set up for food and games. We sat down for a bit to check out the ongoing race on the big screen.

I did get some merchandise, how can I not. I’m a redbull gal.

As we walked to the exit, we stopped to check out the karts. The kiddos took a picture sitting on their favorite kart.

We skipped the food trucks and headed straight to a ramen shop in Little Tokyo. After that, we hit the market to load up on our favorite Japanese snacks.

Cool Saturday =^.^=
