Since I got Covid in the mids of May, my birthday festivities were canceled. Once I recovered though, my kids got covid. Any type of celebration was put off until everyone at the house recovered. We’re now in early June and things are starting to feel normal again.

Zelda was able to perform in her spring dance. She just lit up with joy. I found out she was performing again so I asked grandma to come and see her. A mini surprise for Zelda and she got so happy. Even though she was absent for almost 2 weeks of school, Zelda surpassed her reading goal and was rewarded a tablet. Proud mommy here.

We were waiting to the very last minute for Link’s results to find out if he was cleared to attend his culmination. He came out negative and we rushed it to his school 15 minutes before the ceremony started. He was so cheerful and he did well in his performance despite not being there for the practices.

I got together with my friends and it was nice seeing everyone again. They surprised me with a mini cake. Even if there was no cake, I’m happy everyone reunited. So much love and positive energy. It was a day of happy news.

Summer is around the corner and I’m excited for the upcoming plans. It’s going to be a good season.
