Bachelorette Weekend

I remember thinking that this trip was far away and before I knew it, it was time to go. A weekend to party with the bride-to-be.

We were suppose to leave early but we got traffic heading there. It was Friday so traffic was heavier than usual. We stopped by Target to grab some last minute things and In- N-Out. We were given the wrong order but we didn’t notice until it was too late. We got way more than we ordered so a win for us. What should have been a 2 hour drive to get to Temecula turned into 4 hours but we made it.

We got settled in and introduced ourselves to the other gals. Can’t recall when I hung out with so many girls. I started drinking to catch up with the others. Tonight we were going to party like it’s the 90’s. Everyone got dressed up and ready. We did have one task and that was to make a drink for the bride. A total of 10 drinks. My friend Marlene helped with creating mine. The home was surrounded by rosemary so we made a drink out of it. Very tasty. We danced to 90’s music and took some of pictures. Fell asleep around 3am.

In the morning we prepared breakfast and had a nice brunch because by the time everyone was awake, it was about to be noon. We put on our bathing suits and pink shirts and had a relaxing pool party. More pictures were taken and more drinks. It got a little cold outside so I decided to get in the jacuzzi and enjoy the lovely view. Night was slowly approaching and everyone started getting ready for dinner. Black attire was the theme. We ended the night by playing games and just having girl talk.

It was time to pack up and head home. Originally we were suppose to go to a winery but everyone was so tired and not really in the mood to drink wine. We decided to postpone on the wine trip. It was a fun weekend with the girls.

The fact that everyone managed to get together to celebrate the bride was awesome. I also thanked her because I got a break from motherhood. It was fun.
