Pokémon Go Tour was back in town. It was a three day event but one day is enough for me. Even I have my limit on how much PoGo I play. I was considering on buying the after-dark event since Mega Dragonite was making its debut but I was worried on missing my flight to New York. Eight hours of PoGo was plenty.

I remember how hot it was last year but this year it was quite chilly. I had no idea what to wear. My sister in law made a joke on wearing the Pikachu, Psyduck, and Mewtwo onesies. I laughed but I considered it and thought it was a good idea. I had such fun wearing it and we stood out.

Did I get a lot of shines? Yes I did. My favorite catch was a shiny Xerneas with the background.

What a difference from last year. I felt so much more aware and experienced this time around. It was a lot more chill. Besides trying to get shiny legendaries, I really wasn’t seeking anything else in particular. It was fun and stress-free just playing.

Regarding the special research tasks for the event, we completed them pretty quick and easy. I felt that was sorta lacking this year. I don’t know if they were holding some stuff off for the after-dark event.

PoGo has brought me such joy and the community is welcoming. I’m excited for the next event I plan to attend, Pokemon Go Fest: Chicago.
