When I first heard of this event, I was thinking of skipping it. On the last weekend though, I bought tickets and looked in my closet to create a Marty McFly inspired outfit.

I kinda knew what was going on since I’ve seen a couple videos of the event but it’s a different experience when you’re actually there. We made a plan on how to check out everything and I think for the most part, we stuck through to it.
Once we got in the park, we headed straight to Super Nintendo World, got a blue Yoshi headband and began our search for the Yoshi eggs. Once we found all of them, we headed to the line to meet blue Yoshi but once we saw how long the wait was, we decided it wasn’t a big deal meeting him so we left Nintendo World and went to check out the Dungeons & Dragons experience.

I have only played the board game once and I had no idea what was going on. The same can be said about the walkthrough but it was very entertaining. I love how much effort was put into it. So despite on not understanding the storyline, I enjoyed it. Next up, Back to The Future.

This was the first thing I wanted to check out but I heard it’s best to visit Hill Valley once it gets dark.

I think we stayed at Hill Valley for 2 hours. Watching the actors play out the movie from beginning to end was entertaining and it was so funny interacting with them. It felt like I was part of the movie. I loved it so much. This was my highlight of the night.

After leaving Hill Valley, we went to check out the Star Trek experience. I don’t know anything about Star Trek and I didn’t know what was going on but we enjoyed it. For a minute I forgot I wasn’t in a real space ship.

I love anime but I never got into One Piece and Jujutsu Kaisen. I’m sorry but it’s just too many episodes of One Piece for me to watch (over 1000 episodes!!!). We ended up skipping these but I don’t think it was a loss. The One Piece thing was mainly taking pictures with the cosplayers and the food. For Jujutsu Kaisen, it was a 4D motion simulator attraction.
We didn’t try any themed foods but we did try theme cocktail drinks and omg were they delicious. My favorite ones were the Dungeons and Dragons.

This night was everything. I wasn’t expecting to have so much fun. If they bring this event back next year, I would definitely go again. Even if they bring back Hill Valley, I’ll check it out again.
