Earlier this year, Zelda missed out on a school field trip because she got sick. Her class went to go check out a play. Zelda was upset she couldn’t attend but I promised her I’ll take her to a play in the future. The holidays arrived and I gave Zelda two choices: The Grinch or The Nutcracker. Zelda chose The Grinch.

Hollywood isn’t far from our home but traffic is horrid. I avoid driving there unless I have plans. Took us an hour to get there but we made it.

We had thirty minutes before the show started. We got something to drink and patiently waited before we sat in our seats. Ten minutes before showtime, a lady approached us and gave us orchestra seats. Our original seats were on the second floor so we were so thankful.

We were all so excited for the show. We got booster seats so the kids can see better. We were close to the stage that fake snow fell on us which the kids enjoyed and the ending made us jump when the confetti blasted from the stage. After the play, there was a marriage proposal which was cute. She said yes.

There’s no photo/video allowed of the play but I would have definitely taken a couple if I could. We took a picture after.

I wasn’t expecting to enjoy it as much as the kids did. It was a fun family night.
